was just thinking the other day, what are the things/moments that make u the happiest?

for me, these make me feel that life is worth living after all:

1. first sip from an ice-cold can of coke

2. body massage (awww..in desperate need of it now)

3. walking on the streets of HK in the chilly slightly drizzling weather with a breeze blowing against my face

4. peach yami yoghurt with granola topping

5. flipping through the freshly printed pages of a fashion magazine. (i love the smell of the freshly printed, perfectly uncrumpled paper)

6. sinking my teeth into the blueberry cheesecake from Hilton

how about you girls? i feel like packing my bag and running out of my office now. but, i can’t.

Calling out to all!!!! I’m so in love with this rose jumper but the shipping fee is USD25!!!! Anyone wants anything else from American Apparel? Just some recommendations, I love their Tees, very comfy and material is thin but superb. Heard good things about their tights too, but don’t have them at the moment. Let me know if any of you want anything from there and we can share shipping? *Big Fat Hint to BESTIE!!*

god, pls give us strength

just found out that a colleague of mine was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has only 5 more yrs to live.

im pretty affected by it, not in the sense that i cry profusely or wht, but it just makes me doubt what i’m doing with my life. i’m stuck with a job that i find more boring and senseless with each passing day, im leading a  monotonous life where i head to work then home then work again the next day. I need new challenges, i want to design, i want to be able to express the creative side of me, i want to MAKE things, DESIGN things, i want to feel satisfied with my work and with my life. I want to lead a meaningful life.

I hope that God (wherever you are) will give my colleague the strength she needs to get through the treatments and make life easier for her please.

haven’t got the luxury of time to blog-read lately till today and these are some pics that I stumbled across in Jak and Jil‘s:

this picture is simply amazing. it’s so artistic and breathtaking. i’m imagining a dark and gothic princess rushing to attend a ball.

firstly, the guy’s outfit reminds me of harry potter. hahas. but what i like about this photo is the neutral color combi of what they were wearing. lately i realise that i’m drawn to more neutral color clothings like light peach, beige, taupe, camel.. instead of black. maybe it’s becos of my new blunt short fringe.. just feel like i want to wear something in a softer shade/shape to balance it.

this is such a genius idea isn’t it? i wonder how many people in singapore actually dares to bring this out. i think this idea would seriously work if you could find a cheap paper-like material that can withstand the weight of your barangs. the idea of diy-ing your own bag would be pretty cool and not forgetting, cost-saving ehs?

it’s time for u to fight your demon. be brave and remember that i’m always by your side.

my sweetie pie

apart from my nan ren’s laptop annoying the hell out of me being all laggy and unresponsive, im actually having quite a peaceful night. am at my nan ren’s place, he’s slping on the couch while im typing away with my sweet little charcoal slping on my belly.

the sweet little pumpkin brought a smile to my face just about 5 mins ago. not sure what was ‘wrong’ with him but he was unusually sweet and stuck to me after i gave him a bath. i was on the couch playing Bejewelled on my itouch and the little one just jumped up and sat beside me. i lay down on the couch so that i could play my itouch more comfortably and put him on my belly still. then, he crawled up to my face and started kissing my face. hahas. apart from the tickle and standing hairs, it was really sweet. oh, anyways, what was really adorable was that while he was busy licking and cleaning his paws, he got so tired that he closed his eyes and fell aslp right there and then. i watched him through this whole process and i was kinda in awe. hahas. he didn’t even shift his position like what he always does to feel more comfy. he just shut his eyes and slept.

oh, and one more thing, i have a nickname for him. he’s the mexican jumping bean. the other night, he was jumping and pouncing away on this new rat toy that my bro’s gf bought for him. he got so fascinated by it that he got so hyped up and my bed turned into his trampoline. he did somersaults, 360 degree turns and other crazy stuffs. hahas. the little jumping bean got so excited that the poor rat lost quite an amount of ‘hair’ and it’s MIA now by the way, not sure where it went after char played with him yesterday.  hurhur.

have been meaning to post a picture of char here, but have not managed to take a perfect picture of him due to his hyperactiveness and inability to stay still. arghs.
